“Teaching of civic education helps me to raise an active citizens with practical skills and sense of patriotism, with greater understanding of their civic responsibilities, ability to protect their and others rights with sense of empathy and tolerance”. 

“Trainings provided by MT program supported my professional development. The knowledge gained at the trainings helped me and my students to start solving local problems and as a result, we implemented several projects for the school and community benefit”.

I have introduced project based teaching in civics lessons, which helps students to use gained knowledge in the classroom in practice. It also helps them to develop skills such as - identification and finding the ways to solve problems, advocating for causes and cooperating with various organizations” - says Manana Makharadze, civics teacher and school principal of Legva Public school in Kobuleti municipality.
