The students of the European School of Telavi supported by PH International are implementing a mini- grant project ;Guides’ Club;. The goal of the club is to prepare students who will be able to guide the guests in Telavi and its surroundings.This service is designed for individual or small tourist groups.
Students will offer a well-organized and cheap services.Club also incorporates with students; parents and other community members.Within the framework of the project, with the support of the school administration, the relevant area was allocated for the development of the Guides Club office and work environment. The technical equipment required for the club was purchased by the grant.
In particular, the computer and color printer.Three tours have been developed, information about planned sightseen was collected and prepared.Students have created the club;s information brochure and blog-tesguidesclub.worldpress.com, as well as Facebook – TES Guides Club and E-mail: tesguidesclub@gmail.comThe students continue to implement the project. The brochures will be printed by the end of October and the selected community members will join the club.
Meetings with parents and guesthouse owners will be held in November. Information brochures will be spread in Telavi and in other municipalities of Kakheti region.After completion of the project, a group of young guides will be created in Telavi, who will be able to meet guests from foreign countries.
