The purpose of the Small Grants Competition is to help school students apply the knowledge gained in civic education classes in practice.
The Small Grants Competition is announced by USAID’s Civic Education Program, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Under this competition, students’ special, creative initiatives will be financed to support their involvement in solving current problems for the school or society.
Priority will be given to projects that aim to raise civic awareness among students and promote their participation in democratic processes.
Students in the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades, along with teachers and school administration representatives, from USAID Civic Education Program partner schools can participate in the Small Grants Competition.
