Civic Education Teachers’ Forum was officially founded on May 30, 2013. However, as an unregistered network, it was formed back in 2011 as part of the USAID-funded civic education and teacher training program implemented by PH-International in collaboration with the Center for Counseling and Training, the program’s regional partner NGOs, and education and With the support of the Ministry of Science.

One of the main goals of establishing the forum was to offer additional services to civic education teachers, promote professional development and create a favorable environment for sharing experiences.

Today, Civic Education Educators’ Forum is one of the largest membership-based teachers’ associations in Georgia, which is represented in all regions of Georgia and unites more than 1000 school civic education teachers.
