On June 9, 2015 Bolnisi House of Culture hosted a performance “It’s Time to Break a Silence” by students of Bolnisi school “Davitiani“. The performance was prepared in the framework of mini-grant project of MT program and aimed to increase public awareness about violence.
Students conducted research to learn community attitudes towards violence and then developed a scenario for the performance. They also worked on brochures about the means for the prevention of violence and with information about organizations working on this topic.
These informational materials were disseminated to public after the performance. Audience of the performance included students, teachers, community members, school administration representatives and local Government.
Event was covered by media. Event was organized in the framework of USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Program, which is implemented by PH International.
