Students of Oktomberi village public school in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, to promote road safety among community members, prepared booklets informing about road safety rules and calling on community members, drivers and pedestrians to follow them to ensure road safety. Students plan to advocate for the renovation of a crosswalk in front of the school.
They are going to prepare a letter and apply to the local government with a request to arrange a crosswalk near the school to ensure road safety for the community.
