Civics students in grades 9 and 10 of the Village Savaneti Azeri public school decided to renew the books in their school library. They selected damaged books and recovered them.
They also found out that there was not a good choice of Georgian books in the school library and asked Bolnisi Library to provide Georgian books. Administraiton of the Bolnisi Library donated Georgian books to the school.
Students were also offered to regularly use the books from Bolnisi library. Cooperation between students and Bolnisi library will promote the interest towards books among students and will help Azeri students to improve their Georgian.
The initiative was supported by USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, which is implemented by PH International.
