Students of village Sameba Public School in Tsalka Municipality have launched an information campaign to promote healthy living.Throughout the campaign, the students gathered information about the importance of healthy living, prepared brochures and distributed them in the community; a wall newspaper was posted at school.
A seminar on the importance of a healthy lifestyle was held for junior students. The students plan to advocate for the renovation of the playground in order to promote sports life in the community.“We want to rehabilitate the village stadium, which will be used by both students and community members.
We will also have the opportunity to invite young people from neighboring villages to hold friendly matches. All this will help engage youth in sports and promote a healthy lifestyle in the community, – said Khatia Markoidze, a student of Village Sameba Public School.
