School-based civics club students of village Benari public school decided to support beneficiaries with special needs of the rehabilitation day centre “Talita Kum”. Students organized an expo-sale of the paintings and hand-made items and held a concert at school to promote integration of the beneficiaries into the society. “I wanted to support them.
I and my classmates were able to make them happy, we made handmade items for expo-sale and held a concert. I’d like to support them to overcome any fear while integration into the society and to communicate better with people ;- said Khatia Peikrishvili, a leader of the civics club.The event was attended by representatives of local administration and non-governmental organizations.
