On May 19, 2017, the meeting of the students of the Supreme Council of Adjara was held in the meeting hall of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. The meeting was attended by students and teachers of Dinisparauli, Riketi, Iremadzeebi, Kedlebi, Kortokhi and Batumi public school № 23.
The meeting was held within the framework of the Youth Forum project “More Information for More Activity”. The head of the legislative agency of Adjara talked about the importance of government branches, issues related to the ongoing political processes in the country and the legislative activities in the Supreme Council.
The meeting continued in the question-and-answer mode, which mainly touched various fields and expected changes in the country. Merab Karanadze, Ilia Verdzadze and Petre Zambakhidze made explanations about the public discussion of the Georgian Constitution and the expected change in the electoral system.
The students thanked the hosts and noted that such meetings will help them better determine their future. At the end of the meeting the guests viewed the cabinet of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Adjara and made memorable photos.
