Civics students from Momavlis Taoba program partner schools in Guria initiated to organize ibrary corner at the Ozurgeti free canteen for economically disadvantaged people. Initiative was supported by representatives of local municipality, educational resource center and Guria Regional Social Service Center.
As a result of students’ initiative the free canteen can bring additional benefit to citizens, beneficiaries can now read books and magazines and spend their free time there. Students organized concert and delivered presents to the beneficiaries during the opening of the library corner.
The initiative was organized in the framework of USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, implemented by PH International.
