Students from grade 10 at Kisiskhevi public school initiated classroom project to promote reading among their peers. Students decided to arrange a comfortable space for reading at school and shared the idea with the school administration and community.

School administration provided the space for the library corner at school. Local municipality purchased book shelves and tables for the library.

Local private vine factory purchased construction materials for the rehabilitation of the space. Kakheti office of World Vision donated the books to the library.

Students took an active part in organizational and logistical works. Now Kisiskhevi public school has a reading room, where students can spend their free time and read books. The civics classroom project was implemented in the framework of USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, which is implemented by PH International.
