The civics
club students of village Sagolasheni public school in Kareli municipality decided
to inform peers about violence.The survey was conducted among the students to determine if they had information about violence or bullying at
school and what they had done as witnesses.Veriko Sukhitashvili, the leader of the club said:
“We have planned to provide information about violence among students to better
understand what is violence, bullying and talked about their own problems. Our
approach was successful, students were very frankly talking about their
problems, relationships and expressing the ideas how to solve them”.
An informational meeting was held at school where club
leaders talked about the types of violence, the forms, the bullying and the
ways of solving them, how should they apply in case of violence and how to use
the hot line. Presentation of the posters and slogans were arranged in school
environment.
