School-based civics club students of village Mestia Public School № 2 decided to improve road safety in the community.The school is located next to the central highway, where there was neither a pedestrian road sign nor a zebra crossing.The students applied to the Mayor of Mestia for help and as a result of a successful partnership, the problem was solved and a zebra crossing was arranged. In addition, students prepared leaflets on road safety and disseminated them in the community.
