Students of Chikaani public school in Kakheti region worked together with local municipality, school administration, teachers, and parents to renovate of the school yard. Students and teachers took part in in the cleaning and rehabilitation works.
The Local administration supported students; initiative and provided construction materials, benches and garbage bins. Local wine company – “Guguli LTD provided equipment for the school gym.
“Our school yard needed renovation for a long time. I am glad, that as a result of joint efforts of civics teachers and students, within the mini-grant project we could mobilize community – said school principal Eva Begashvili.
The initiative was supported by the mini-grant in the framework of USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, implemented by PH International.
