Students of Jurukveti public school decided to rehabilitate the yard of their school and obtained the support from school administration, local Government and community. These parties helped students to purchase materials for rehabilitation and seedlings for greening the school yard.
Students painted benches and planted flowers and tree seedlings in the school yard. They decided to take care of the flowers, trees and the school yard infrastructure in the future too.
“Maintenance of the school yard was prioritized by students but it became possible by joint efforts of different parties” –said Violeta Kvachadze, civics teacher of Jurukveti public school. The initiative was organized in the framework of USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, implemented by PH International.
