Students of Baidari and Khuldari public schools of Marneuli municipality prepared a school wall newspaper on early marriage issues to increase awareness among their peers. These villages of Georgia are populated with Azeri population and the incidents of early marriages are highly prevalent. Students collected information for the wall newspaper and presentedtopics, such as: Georgian legislation on early marriage, its negative influence on health and to the opportunity to qualify for the proper education and career.
Students will continue the activities for the prevention of early marriage among the youth within communities in the upcoming school year.
