Radio “Atinati hosted MT students from Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region to participate in a new youth program “Momavlis Taoba (Future Generation) to discuss civic education, youth civic engagement and other issues they are interested in. The weekly program is broadcasted on Thursday.

Topics of already broadcasted programs were related to the impacts of a pandemic, challenges they faced during the distance learning and prevention of bullying. Participants of the program were students of the Kortskheli village public school, Head of Zugdidi education resource centre, and a psychologist.

During the broadcasting, the audience could take part in discussions via audio calls.To increase peers participation in a radio program, a week before the broadcasting, students prepare a questionnaire about a specific topic and post it on a social network, where any person has the opportunity to take part in the survey. During the broadcasting, the survey results are summarized and shared with the listeners.

On July 16, MT students from village Obuji public school and a representative of the local government will talk about the importance of cooperation of young people with local government for the resolving of community and school problems. Students will share the best practices of cooperation with the local government to the audience.
