The purpose of the cleaning rally was to raise public awareness about the ecological problems the Black Sea is facing and the protection of the marine ecosystem. The students’ initiative was supported by the limited liability agency “Sandasuptaveba”, which provided them with necessary equipment for cleaning.The members of the school-based civic club believe that young people should feel the responsibility to get involved in solving the problems around them, so they held informational meetings in the school about the challenges related to the Black Sea. The students’ initiative was covered by Adjara TV.
