Mariam Mitagvaria, civics student of Akhalabastumani public school, became a Chairman of the Youth Council at Zugdidi Municipality. Mariam takes active part in civics activities and projects within the Momavlis Taoba project.
She also participated in the internship program at local media -Radio “Odishi. As a result of a successful internship experience, Mariam was offered to lead a music program – “MusicStory”
For the successful graduation of the middle school level the Ministry of Education and Science awarded Mariam with a personal computer. “Participation in the trainings, initiatives and projects supported by MT increased m motivation to be an active citizen.
This knowledge and experience motivated me to advocate for the problems of my school and community. This is why I starte to cooperate with the representatives of local administration and media. Now I am a chairman of the Youth Council and member of radio “Odishi. I am sure this will help me in future to choose the right profession for me said MariamMitagvaria.
