The representatives of the company have already given the students a sewing machine, a colored printer, a puzzle printing press, an air extractor and other items that they will need to implement their idea.The student-created project “Discover Your Village” aims to increase the tourism potential of the village of Mukhrani and, at the same time, help socially vulnerable families.
With the inventory received from the company, the students will prepare puzzles with the images of the map of Georgia and the historical and cultural monuments of village Mukhrani. The puzzles will be placed and sold in small bags hand-sewn by the students and the proceeds will go to socially vulnerable families.At the initial stage, the “Discover Your Village” project was financed by a mini grant from the USAID Civic Education Program.
After that, the students presented the project at the school-business forum organized within the program, where they received additional support from “Liderfood”.
