In the frame of a summer school organized by the students of the civic education club “Merani” operating at Sogholasheni public school, there was arranged an event on children’s rights during which the students presented their presentations and thematic posters. They also held a discussion on the rights of children. As to the 1st activity of the summer school, it was committed to the meeting with Veriko Sukhitashvili – a former leader of the club, who shared her experience with new members. “Diary of Anne Frank” was the topic of discussion of the following activity during which the members spoke about the importance of reading in youngsters. The club members did not forget children as well – they have painted the space of the village kindergarten with happy characters.The activities were implemented in the frame of USAID Civic Education Program.
