Students from MT program partner schools in Guria region conducted informational campaigns dedicated to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. In Guria region, students of the village Sachamiaseri public school organized a meeting at school to discuss the literature and examples of real facts of violence against women.
Teachers, school administration officials and community members joined students at this meeting. Students from the village Kohnari public school prepared informational flyers and disseminated them among community members.
Hotline number, needed in case of violence was also communicated to public. Informational campaigns, meetings and discussions were also held in Ureki, Konchkati, Kv.
Bakhvi, Gurianti, Makvaneti, Jurukveti and village Ozurgeti public schools.
