Civics students from Shida Kartli region visited Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR). Head of the institute hosted the students and provided information about the projects, implemented by IWPR and their results in conflict resolution.
Students also visited the office of the newspaper “Prime Time” office and met with the editor Keti Khatiashvili. Students asked questions about the newspaper development and the work of journalists.
Students were also offered internship opportunities at newspaper. Students also visited the Open Society Georgia Foundation and received information about the work of the foundation.
Students were mostly interested in the Foundations’ programs offering opportunities to study abroad. The visits were supported by USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, which is implemented by PH International.
