Students of Sviri public school are actively engaged in improving their school;s ecological environment. One of their latest event was dedicated to the cleaning and greening of the school, where students plant flowers around the school building.
Community members supported the students; initiative and provided the seedlings for the greening activities. “Students participation in greening activities is very important for the formation of their personal attitude to the protection of environment“ said Nugzar Lomidze, civics teacher of Sviri school.
The initiative was a natural follow up of a mini-grant project “Clean Environment, which was previously implemented by the students. Greenin action was supported by USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, which is implemented by PH International.
