In May 2018, civics club’s students from village Partskhanakanevi public school implemented a project – “Green Inspector”. Students set up a group of their peers who became responsible to monitor and identify environmental pollution cases in their community.
Students effectively used social media to disseminate information on identified cases and created a Facebook page, where they uploaded photos, videos and information on environmental littering. Students also organized cleaning and greening action in the central part of the village and encouraged local community to participate.
Student colored trash bins and announced a contest to select the most beautiful and well cared yard in the village. Project was supported by the local administration, which presented symbolic prizes to contest winners.
