Students from school “Iveroni” in Tbilisi, cooperated with local government to place two “Green Boxes” in their offices to collect scrap paper. 250 kg of scrap paper was already collected, will be exchanged into new books and delivered to the school library.
“250 kg of scrap paper will save 3 trees” – emphasized students at the meeting with local government officials. This is a continuation of the older initiative, which took place in January.
In the past, students have collected 350 kg of scrap paper and delivered 18 new books to the school library. The campaign was initiated in the framework of USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Program, implemented by PH International.
