On March 17, 2018 Batumi Center for Civic Engagement hosted the conference and photo exhibition on “Girls Engagement in Civic Activism”. Participants of the conference, students of MT program partner schools in Adjara region, summarized the results of the Women Week, during which they attended trainings, met with successful women, organized campaigns aiming at preventing violence against women and discussed the importance of girls’ involvement in civics activities and problems they face nowadays in this regard.The event was attended by MT program partner schools’ students, civics teachers, parents, school and local administration and media representatives.The conference was organized in the framework of USAID funded “Momavlis Taoba” program implemented by PH International.
