Civics Teachers National Conference and Awards Ceremony was held on April 10, 2021 in the framework of USAIDs Momavlis Taoba Civic Education Program. Event was aired through Facebook live.
Ekaterine Dgebuadze, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Berika Shukakidze, Director of the National Center for Teacher Professional Development and Momavlis Taoba Program Chief of Party Marina Ushveridze opened the conference. The best civics teachers from different regions of Georgia were awarded at the event.
Teachers shared experiences and listened to presentations of experts in the field of school-based civic education.
