Students of the village Mikava public school №2, in the framework of mini-grant project, mobilized community to damaged drainage system of school that caused flooding of the school yard. On March 10, students organized drainage cleaning action in front of the school.
Parents, community members and representative of school administration also took part in the cleaning action. Additional activities for the rehabilitation of drainage system will be supported by the local government .
Students also plan to conduct environmental protection campaign in the community. Mini-grant project is carried out in the framework of USAID funded “Momavlis Taoba Program, which is implemented by PH International.
