Village Chaqvinji public school;s students implemented a mini-grant project that was aimed to revive the beekeeping and use the income from produced product for school needs. For the development of the beekeeping skills students attended seminars and meetings with experienced people and took part in practical exercises.
Later on, they prepared fliers and disseminated them among the community for the promotion of beekeeping in the village. The project was supported by the head of local municipality Mr.
Ioseb Iremadze who conducted seminars and practical lessons and presented two beehives to school. At the close-out event of the mini-grant project one of the community members also gifted a beehive to the school.
