Youth Centre – is a joint initiative of students and teachers of Kekhidjvari school supported by Mr. Mamuka Kokozashvili – majoritarian from Kekhidjvari community, Mr. Zaza Guliashvili – Mayor of Kareli and Mr. Vladimer Topchishvili – Kekhidjvari community representative to the administrative unit. The space designated for the Youth Centre in the premises of local administration has been equipped with the inventory given by the school and arranged by students with posters and wall newspapers prepared on various topics.
The Centre has already hosted the first event in the frame of which the young active leaders have arranged a training for peers “Active citizenship, volunteering and participation”. In nearest future the Centre plans to arrange another training for Kekhidjvari youth on “Effective Presentation”.The Activity is being implemented in the frame of USAID Civic Education Program.
