“The support of the USAID Civic Education Program was important for making a positive impact in our community. The project particularly benefited the women and children, as they received important information on ways to prevent violence. The project significantly increased public awareness of violence, which we believe will help everyone to create a safer environment. The sense of unity and solidarity that arose from this effort was truly indescribable. This project would not have been possible without the support of the USAID Civic Education Program.” – says Davit Bolkvadze, a student of Kvemo Vashlovani public school.
“No Violence” is one of the projects funded in the framework of the Mini Grants Competition. The authors of the idea are the students of the Kvemo Vashlovani Public School, who aimed to raise awareness about violence in the community.
