Early marriage is one of the problems in Pankisi Gorge populated with ethnic Kists. Through the USAID funded Momavlis Taoba project, school students of Omalo public school conducted information campaign to increase public awareness about women rights.
Within the information campaign, students organized discussions, street actions and distributed information leaflets. Elderly women council members of Omalo, parents, Omalo school students and school community were actively engaged in the information campaign.
