Students of Martvili Municipality’s Balda village public school initiated a civics classroom project to promote tourism in their village. As a result of the students’ cooperation with local authorities, bilingual banners with signs leading to historical places were made and placed in the village.
The students also prepared an delivered brochures, with destinations of local historical places and detailed
information about the importance of the monuments. The students hope that their
initiative will increase the number of tourists and promote tourism in their
village.
