Civics club students of MT program partner schools in Guria celebrated World Food Day with various activities. All events, that were implemented as part of this initiative was aiming to promote national food products.
Students held information meetings with the younger students about the importance of ecologically clean and healthy food. Number of discussions was organized on how to protect the population from hunger.As part of this initiative, students visited small factory of sweets in the village Makvaneti. After the factory tour, students had an opportunity to introduce civic club activities to the factory management and personnel.
The initiative was organized in the framework of USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, which is implemented by PH International.
