On December 26, Head of Akhaltsikhe Municipality, Mr. Zaza Melikadze, Chairman of City Council Mr.
Davit Lomidze and other Governmental officials met with the students of school-based civics club members to discuss the problems of their school and community. Officials promised to support students in arrangement of a civics club room at Village Muskhi Public School and renovation of the library in Fersa Village.
Officials also stated that students from distant villages will be provided 50% discount on transportation fees. At the meeting students also received interesting information about the work, main directions and planned activities of the Akhaltsikhe local Government.
Students said that their meeting with the representatives of the local Government was useful for all of them. Meeting was organized in the framework of USAID funded “Momavlis Taoba program, which is implemented by PH International.
