Students from different public schools of Adjara region presented the results of their civics projects in village Salibauri public school №1. David Hoffman, USAID Georgia Mission Deputy Director, Adam Schmidt, Director of the Democracy, Governance and Social Development Office of USAID Georgia, Marina Ushveridze, Chief of Party of Civic Education Program, Maia Katamadze, Director of Batumi Educational Development and Employment Center, civics teachers, representatives of school administration and Educational Resource Center took part in the event.
Projects, carried out by students in Adjara aimed at preventing trafficking and gender-based violence, advocating and solving community problems and promoting school safety. Students also presented a performance on gender-based violence and a film on bullying prevention.
