Our efforts were successful. The zebra crossing near the school territory needed renewal. We also thought that it would be comfortable for the community members to have an electronic table of the movement of buses at the bus stop. We applied to the local municipality for their support and met with Shalva Ogbaidze, the majoritarian MP of the Gldani-Nadzaladevi municipality.
As a result of a successful partnership with the Tbilisi City Hall, an electronic table at the bus stop was placed and the zebra crossing was repainted.The implementation of this project was very important for me – we understood that the problem can be solved with students joint work and commitment.
The project increased my motivation and belief that students efforts can solve not only the problems of school but also the ones of the community -said Ilia Kiknadze, the 9th-grade student of Tbilisi Public School № 118.
