The 9th grade students of the village Pakhulani public school made colorful paper bags and called for the population to get rid of plastic bags. The paper bags were made like a brochure featuring general information about the harmful influence of plastic pollution on the environment and a variety of slogans, such as – “Say No to Plastic Bags.
The aim of the initiative was to raise public awareness about the negative impact of plastic on the environment. At the end of the day, the students organized a cleaning action, which resulted in the removal of plastic bags and bottles from the surrounding area of the local river.
