Students of the village Khamiskhuri public school in Khobi municipality initiated a “Give a Book to the Library” campaign in the community. Donated books in the frame of the campaign were handed to Khamiskhuri community library.
In addition, students approached local government for their support.The students conducted a survey among the youth to determine the usage of a community library. Results showed, that youth dont use the library due to exciting books collection, which is not relevant and in line with their interests.
One of the events of the initiative was popularization of reading among youth. For this purpose, students organized contest “Bookshelf.
The contest included questions from literature and attended by the students of Khamiskhuri Public School.
