School-based civics club students of village Merjevi public school initiated a mini-grant project “There Are No Limits” The project aimed to support the integration of children with special needs with their peers.
The civics club members met with local authorities to get information about services and governmental programs provided to the people with special needs. The students, in cooperation with “Deaf Union” beneficiaries, organized cultural and sports activities.
With support of Sachkhere theater, a puppet performance was staged at the school and an animated movie was made. The students signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Deaf Union and plan to support their beneficiaries in the future too.
