„Youth for Surami“ – One more project designed for activating local young people and increasing their civic engagement. August 12 – an International Youth Day was celebrated together by students of Surami №2 and №3 public schools. In the frame of a special week, they have cleaned the territory of Surami Park and arranged a meeting-discussion on the challenges faced by the local community.
On August 13, on the running path of Surami Park, there was arranged a race in order to promote a healthy lifestyle among the youth. The race had four winners who were awarded various prizes. The project is on-going and envisages various interesting activities. The activity is being implemented in the frame of USAID Civic Education Program.
