Tabatskuri school students supported by MT mini-grant project initiated rehabilitation of the school sport space and promotion of healthy life style among the youth. Students organized seminars, meeting with well-known sportsman and sport competitions.
School administration supported students’ initiative and provided construction materials for the rehabilitation of the sport space and covered transportation expenses. Students teachers and community members took part in the renovation works.
On June 6, the opening event of the rehabilitated sport space was held at school, where students made presentation of the project results and organized sport competitions among the school students. The event was covered by local media and attended by representatives of local government, school administration, media, teachers, students and community members.
