Students of the Village of Akhali Samgori public school in Gardabani municipality initiated a move to support economically disadvantaged families. They got information from TV about the needs of the Siprashvili multi-child family from the village Sakobo in Lagodekhi municipality.
Within the charity activities, students collected food and warm clothes for a vulnerable family and supported by school and local administration, who provided transformation, they all together visited the family with presents prepared for them. Besides, students organized small concert for the kids of the family.
Later students decided to support 94 years old lonely woman of their community. They chopped the wood and brought it to elderly;s home for heating.
The initiative was supported by USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, which is implemented by PH International.
