“Safe New Year” was the name of a class project initiated by students of Tbilisi public school №156. Project aimed to increase students awareness about
misuse of pyrotechnics and call population not to cut fair trees durin the New Year and protect the environment.
Students had a consultation with a doctor to know how dangerous is misuse of pyrotechnics, and how to prevent it. They also prepared a wall newspaper at school to share the collected information with peers.
Besides students organized an exhibition at school of handmade New Year Trees and offered alternative ideas for the prevention of cutting of fair trees.
