Georgian sector students of the village of Savaneti public school in Bolnisi municipality initiated charity activities to support one economically disadvantaged household in the village. Within the charity activities, students collected food and warm clothes for a vulnerable, multi-child family.

Azeri sector students of the school also joined the initiative and they all together visited the family with presents prepared for them. During their visit they found out that the youngest child of the family was not attending school because of the vulnerability of the family and the family is not prepared for winter.

Students of the Savaneti school decided to negotiate with the school administration for the return of the child to the school and to request the local administration to provide wood for heating of the family;s home. The initiative was supported by USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, which is implemented by PH International.
