Students of Village Kveda Bakhvi public school in Ozurgeti municipality brought up a problem of badly damaged building near the school. Students sometimes play nearby this building after classes.
They realized that the building is very dangerous for children as it might suddenly collapse and decided to solve this problem. Students took photos of the building and prepared a letter to the Governor of the village.
The issue was discussed at the local authorities’ meeting, in which students and civic teachers also participated. Later, the Governor of the village discussed the problem with community members and it was decided to demolish the building with participation of volunteer villagers.
