Students of Village Nagomi public school in Ozurgeti municipality launched an advocacy campaign to promote healthy lifestyle among the youth. They cooperated successfully with local authorities to rehabilitate outdoor sports square in the village.

At the initial stage, students prepared a project proposal desribing the need for the renewal of outdoor sports space and presented it to local government. Representatives of the local government decided to provide funds in the amount of 1,600 GEL for the rehabilitation and equipment of the outdoor sports space.

Students and community members will take part in the rehabilitation works. As a result of their efforts, there will be a better outdoor sports space in the village for all community members. Students made a short video featuring their campaign. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqysS6WxhNI

The initiative was organized in the framework of USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, which is implemented by PH International.
