Civics students of Tbilisi public school №63 found a creative method to resolve the streets’ pollution problem near their school. Students made caption on the asphalt “Trash in 40 meters” on four different streets and tried to attract people’s attention to keep the neighborhood clean.

This initiative caused great interest among the pedesrtians, who joined the action. “We wanted to attract attention of the population to the problem of streets’ pollution around our school and chose this method.

We worked hard and I hope that our efforts will be fruitful,” said Anna Khalebashvili, the student leader of the school-based civics club. The initiative was organized in the framework of USAID-funded Momavlis Taoba Project, which is implemented by PH International
